Blog #10- ERIC reflection

After listening to many of the ERIC presentations I am still excited about incorporating technology into my future classroom. In some of the presentations, there were many educational websites pointed out that additionally add to the ones that I have been learning about in this class. The websites are interesting to look at now, but when I get the chance to use them in the future, I cannot wait to figure out all of the neat features that will make my lessons even better, especially the lessons that deal with integrating technology into the classroom. The presentation on e-portfolios was also very interesting because I am curious to see how much they will change before I become a teacher. The e-portfolios mainly focus on high school students and college students, but they may soon become popular for elementary students. Plus, I thought it was a great idea from one of the presenters to have a link on the schools website that allowed the teachers to share their e-portfolios with whoever wished to view it.

I think that because of these presentations I am a little more excited or open to the idea of using technology in the classroom. I think that the e-portfolios sound like they were be a great thing to try in a furture classroom. I also thought it was great that one of the presenters have a link to the website. Actually showing us the website shows me that it can be done and that teachers are using e-portfolios. It allows me to aso view what other teachers are using e-portfolios for and how they are using them. I would have to say over all though that this technology class in general has given me a lot of good websites to look at in the furture.
